A need to call attention to the 40th anniversary of the murdered Israeli Athletes!

About the 40 years since the Munich Games. I think we should all contact the Israeli Olympic Committee and pressure them to make their own memorial to the 11 murdered athletes this summer in London. There are many calling for big placards with each of the victims names on them and their picture, age and sport. These placards would be held by the Israeli team as they took part in the opening ceremonies. The rest of the group marching could have t-shirts with the same info of one of the 11 and their picture on the front and back and wearing white arm bands with a magen david in the colors of the olympic rings! Maybe they all can carry placards. If no placards then just t-shirts. You can even protest the IOC by giving out buttons/t-shirts for people to wear: "Never forget the murdered 11 Israeli athletes of Munich 1972" "40 years since the murdered Israeli athletes deserves a moment of silence". I think this would resonate with the crowds even though the IOC does not want to do a moment of silence. Here is the Israeli Committee's information:

I sent my email to them. This is simply distasteful. A moment of silence should happen. if anything less I think the entire Israeli Olympic team should hold a moment of silence anyway and anyone else who wants to join can, regardless of what the Olympic Committee says.
