Ok, we often have to start with a name and purpose. The name of these socials? And, the purpose? In other words, what is the "hill they will climb" when they leave the social?

What kind of social meet-up? :)
It should happen at the same time aon all the different campuses, around the world
I love how we can envision global coordination. That has to be a major component.
That would be awesome!

RE: Name and Purpose
I think that priority #1 should be socialization and networking within the pro-Israel community.  the more unified in aim and tactic it is, the more effective it will be.  In order to achieve this unity, social events are crucial.
The rest could be defined based on when the event is held, and how it might integrate Israeli cultural elements.  That, of course, is assuming that we couple these gatherings to preexisting Jewish/Israeli events.  alternatively, we could get more creative and structure them as free-standing gatherings.

My take on this, I'd much rather attend a goal-driven, more entrepreneurial meeting than a purely social one. In other words, the purpose could be related to discussing and developing ideas within that (local) group and post them later to the homepage.

I completely agree about a goal-driven meeting rather than a social one. I also think that representing a pro-active, pro-Israel united front is capable of making a big impact on a school campus.

I'd love to organize a meet-up in Israel. It can be small, with some initial members and possibly we can get some professionals to join?

This article is a perfect example why I think there needs to be an united front on campuses.
